Colorado railroad, 1901 – 1914
Issued to C. L. Robinson, agent for the Denver Northwestern & Pacific Railway Company. Signed by S. M. Perry as president. Signed by C. L. Robinson on back.
Railroad was first constructed in 1901 from Denver’s Berkeley Line, near Lakeside Amusement Park, to the mines of the Leyden Coal Company. It was built on a 42-inch rail, and later connected
to Clear Creek Junction, in Arvada, where the line traveled to Golden. This railroad operated from 1901 through 1914.
Railroad was reorganized into the Denver Tramway Company after 1914.
Pass in fine condition.
