ANTIQUE PHOTOGRAPHS

Our inventory of historical Colorado photographs is impressive.  It runs into the thousands.  By photographers such as William Henry Jackson, A. James Harlan, Alexander Martin, T. E. Barnhouse, William Gillen, William E. Hook, William G. Chamberlain, W. D. Wakely, Lachlan McLean, James Thurlow, Charles Weitfle, Charles Erdlen, Alfred Brisbois, D. B. Charles, L. C. McClure, Ed Tangen, and many, many others.
We offer Colorado panoramas, cabinet cards, stereo views, glass-plate negatives, chromolithographs, hand-tinted albumens — the selection is wide and various.  There are historic images from Denver, Colorado Springs, Cripple Creek, Victor, Silverton, Ouray, Durango, Steamboat Springs — all over Colorado.  We cannot possibly list them all, so if you have specific interests contact us.

Many of these images capture Colorado’s mining towns, railroads, mountain landscapes, and early city life during the late 1800s and early 1900s. We’re happy to help you locate photographs by a specific photographer, place, or subject — please reach out with any request.
