THE SILVER GREY & SAN JUAN MINING COMPANY,

#316, Ouray Colorado stock certificate, 1883.

Issued July 13, 1883, not cancelled.

Mining property: Silver Grey mining claim on west slope of Brown

Mountain, Uncompahgre Mining District.  Veins was a fissure four

feet wide with a pay strek of two inches, containing gray copper &

iron pyrites, assaying at 30 ounces of silver per ton in a quartz

gangue.  Mine developed by an open cut 100-feet long and 25-feet

deep.  One shaft 10-feet deep.

Broad Gauge claim on Red Mountain, Red Mountain Mining District,

Ouray County, Colorado.  Veins was a fissure 40-feet wide with a pay

streak 5-feet wide; with quartz containing gray and yellow copper,

iron pyrites and some galena; assaying at 30-ounces of silver per ton.

Property developed by an open cut with a 10-foot face and a tunnel

from end of 25-foot long cut.

Small-sized certificate with dimensions of: 7-7/8 inches by 4 inches.
