CHESTNUT STREET in 1879
Original 1879 cabinet card photograph by G. D. WAKELY.
Wakely was in the Colorado Territory in the 1860s practicing his photography. He left the Territory for several years, and then returned to photograph Leadville in 1879. He left Colorado again in 1880.
Condition: very good plus to near fine; excellent tones & contrasts; a bit of light damage in upper left-hand corner of image. Signed by G. D. Wakely on bottom right-hand corner,
