CT.  Scale 30 miles = 1 inch.  Map Dimensions: 14-1/2 inches x 24

inches.  Highly detailed with many location names not used today.

2)  MAP SHOWING PROPERTY OF THE CENTRAL COLORADO

DEVELOPMENT COMPANY.  This William J. Palmer and William

A. Bell’s company was incorporated expressly to build the D&RGRR.

Colorado Springs, CT.  Scale: 6 miles = 1 inch.  Map dimensions: 13

inches by 9 inches.  Again, many of the name locations are not used

today.

3)  Profile of Line of the Denver & Rio Grande Railway, from Denver

to Pueblo; inset profile: Profile of Arkansas Valley Branch, South

Pueblo to Coal Banks, CT.  Profile dimensions: 32 inches by 9 inches.

Very detailed report with facts concerning railroad grading and

construction, materials used, dimensions of Narrow Gauge use,

minerals and resources along railroad line, projected railroad lines,

costs, revenues, etc.  Exceptional production.

Publication condition: original wraps lightly stained and soiled; edges

lightly frayed; no significant paper missing; spine reinforced with

conservation materials.  Internal pages are clean and bright, with little

or no foxing.  Maps and profile are clean and bright with no paper

missing and no foxing.

Publication production was done in Philadelphia because William J.

Palmer, president was from that city and most of the capital that

funded both the founding of Colorado Springs, Colorado Territory

and the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad came from Philadelphia.
