Other interested parties: W. A. H. Loveland, Samuel Newhouse, G. W. Middleton, W. P. Rouse, and Caldwell Yeaman. All investors were also involved in the establishment of the new Town of Lakewood, about halfway between Denver and Golden, Colorado.
Ran on Champa Street bridge in Denver, Colorado. Was intended to be an electric railway. Another of its enterprises was an amusement park on a 160-acres near Golden, Colorado, known as “the Sapps.” This amusement park was intended to have a dance pavilion, refreshment booths, a merry-go-around, and other entertainments. Santa Fe railroad sold its terminals to this railroad, which included the franchise of the Golden and South Platte Railway.
