This is the first Cripple Creek Directory known to have been published on the newly formed Cripple Creek Gold Mining District, El Paso County, Colorado. The Cripple Creek District was formed in April 1891. The second directory was published by Hazeltine & Company in 1894 in the Town of Cripple Creek.
Directory dimensions: 4-1/2 inches by 7-1/4 inches; 123 pages, not including inserts.
Printed boards show wear and spotting, but still strong and easily readible; burgundy cloth binding strong. Internal pages clean, bright, complete.
