Peter F. Weil was in business on America’s east coast, mostly New York, in the 1860s and 1870s. Born in Germany in 1833; immigrated to the United States in the 1850s. Was considered a reputable portrait photographer. Exhibited in several galleries and exhibitions throughout his photographic career.
