James J. Hagerman, signed as president. Hagerman was one of the founders and financiers of The Colorado Midland Railway, between Aspen and Colorado Springs, Colorado.
H. P. Lillibridge, signed as secretary, was also one of the founders of The Colorado Midland Railway.
Aspen Contact Company had mining property along the Lenado fault, in the Lenado District. In various places in the property, silver ore bodies were found to be 40 feet thick and between 200- and 300- feet in length. Mine was located on south side of Woody Creek, seven miles northeast of Aspen. Opened by the Varney Tunnel. Adjoins the Leadville Mine in the same area.
The Aspen Contact property was combined with the Mollie Gibson to form The Mollie Gibson Consolidated Mining and Milling Company, totaling 53 acres of highly productive silver property. James J. Hagerman, David M. Hyman, Richard Bolles, H.P. Lillibridge, W.B. and H.K. Devereux were some of the principals in the consolidated Company.
