200+ original glass-plate negatives taken by Colorado photographer, Alexander Martin, 1841 – 1929.
This Collection includes photographic images taken in various forms, includuing that of stereo views, cabinet cards, boudoir cards, and imperial sizes.
Most images are in very good plus to near fine condition; however, approximately 5% may require further conservation work.
Photographic images are mostly all of Colorado locations and personalities, from 1874 – 1929. Locales: Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Leadville, Central City, Idaho Springs, Georgetown, Breckenridge, Cripple Creek, etc. Images include street scenes, buildings, overviews, panoramas, mines, railroads, farms, ranches, etc.
