First edition, first issue in original price-intact dust jacket.  With, tipped in letter to fellow Westerner Francis Rizzari, concerning specific Westerner articles, typed and signed by J.Frank Dobie, with holographic corrections.  Letter dated 1953.

Condition: book is in near fine condition with only the slightest of toning to pages; dust jacket is in very good plus condition with some chipping to head and tone of spine and several corners; mere slightest of sunning to spine of jacket; strong, tight spine.  Previous owner’s bookplate on lower left-hand corner of front paste-down.
