The killing of William Nickell is the historical incident that lent to the fame of the Iron Mountain Ranch.  Tom Horn was suspected of the killing Nickell while protecting the cattle interests of the Iron Mountain Ranch of Wyoming.  The killing took place on July 18, 1901.  Nickell was 14 at the time.

Tom Horn was convicted of the Nickell killing and hung by the Stateof Wyoming on November 20,1903.

Both Bosler and Coble are mentioned in Tom Horn’s autobiography, published not long after he was hung for murder.

Condition of stock certificate: fine to very fine; excellent historical signatures for a historically significant Wyoming cattle ranch.
