An 1896 five-color depiction of the buildings, streets, topography and

surroundings of the CRIPPLE CREEK GOLD MINING DISTRICT,

COLORADO most significant towns and mines.  Dimensions of this beautiful

original map: 38-1/2 inches in length by 29 inches in width.

Condition” very good plus to near  fine; several tears conservation mended on

back of map; no paper loss; almost imperceptible; otherwise, clean and bright

and complete.  No folds.

Around margin are colorful lithographs of the Cripple Creek Gold Mining

District’s mines up to 1895.  These include: X-Mas Mine; Vindicator; Doctor;

Pikes Peak; El Paso; Lincoln (Gillett); Independence; Moose; Abe Lincoln;

Plus, two areas dedicated to a brief history of the Cripple Creek District and
