Tom Blair was one of the original pioneers of Baker’s Park and Cunningham Gulch, in the early 1870s when the entire area was still the domain of the Southern Utes.
W. J. Carpenter, with a studio in Telluride, took photographs of the San Juan Region in the 1890s, about the time when this Blair’s Cabin may have been abandoned.
