Crofutt’s GRIP-SACK GUIDE TO COLORADO, 1885: “Arborville, Chaffee county, is a small mining camp, five miles west from Maysville, and 18 miles from the town of Salida.  Mining and stock-raising are the principal occupations of the people.  Population, 150 ….”  Page 68.
